Nearly 200 people attended our January shows, so we’ve added a new date — March 8 — for encore presentations.
Hold an actual 70 million year-old dinosaur tooth. Touch real dinosaur eggs, plus meteorites from outer space, and fossilized remains of plants and even some animals that are millions of years older than the dinosaurs.
Science Museum director Jim Rollings presents a fascinating program about dinosaurs — including recent finds and new discoveries about these mysterious, extinct giants — which concludes with an invitation to come touch (under careful supervision). While you can go see fossils like these under glass in many museums, the chance to touch them is the rarest of all experiences, unless you dig them up yourself!
Shows at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
TOUCHED BY DINOSAURS is free for Science Museum members. Non-member rate, which includes admission to exhibit floor: $11.50/adult, $11/senior, $10/youth (6-17) $8.25/child (2-5).
This program has sold out each time we’ve offered it, so reserve your places now by calling 540.342.5721 or emailing email@example.com.
