Second Saturday Science – Watts Worth $aving
11:00am – 12:30pm
A money-saving program for adults that includes a cool model house to show energy exchanges inside our homes—great visual opportunity!
Billy Weitzenfeld of the Association of Energy Professionals (ACEP) and Phil Hull from New River Center for Energy Research and Training (NRCERT) will be on hand to tell you affordable ways to winterize/weatherize your house and how to save energy. Mr. Hull is bringing a “House of Pressure”, a specialized model house that demonstrates what happens inside your home when systems are engaged together, like how running your clothes dryer can impact your hot water heater.
Seating will begin at 10:30am with the presentation starting at 11am.
Regular Museum admission fees apply.
